Winter Bargue Drawing with Beth Leahy

  • In the late 1860’s, Charles Bargue and Jean Leon Gerome collaborated on a unique drawing course. The Bargue coursework was intended to prepare students for academic or classical drawing. Over the eight weeks, you will learn to see accurately, appreciate beauty, and develop a sensitivity to line. The projects are sequential and increase in complexity. Supply list given at time of registration. Drawing paper will be provided. Continuing students will be given new references to work on and will progress with more advanced drawings.
