Want to relax with yoga but getting up and down from the floor keeps you away? Yoga instructor Paula Gardner is offering sessions of Chair Yoga here at McCord! What’s Chair Yoga? You’ll do yoga poses sitting in a chair. You’ll use the chair for support of standing poses. You’ll practice relaxation techniques in the chair. You enjoy the same wonderful benefits of “regular” yoga – strengthening, flexibility, de-stressing, etc. This is ideal for folks recovering from injury or surgery, with hip replacements, knee injuries, severe arthritis, MS, lupus, RA and who want to learn how to relax at their desk!
